Sinnissippi Golf Course is the oldest public golf course in Rockford, inaugurated already in 1912. It is the golf course where many Rockford golfers grew up.

Sinnissippi Golf Course is located in Sinnissippi Park, right next to the Scandinavian Cemetery. It is a compact but beautiful parkland course, with nice, wide fairways and a lot of undulation. It is a perfect course to play if you only have a couple of hours to spare. And if you have a bit more time, take the chance to play a second nine holes. You’ll have a lot more fun now that you know the course.

The concessions are simple, but full service and very friendly, with quite reasonable prices. And the starter is of Swedish descent, of course.
